Parents don't have a lot of control by the time a kid gets to be 16. And a lot of 16 year olds have sex (perhaps even more often when they live in small town without a lot of other things to do). Sometimes 16 year olds who have sex get pregnant. Among the many things that make Sarah Palin ill-suited to be VP (or President, if McCain is elected and then dies during his term) her unwed underaged daughter's pregnancy is a complete non-issue. Personally though, I can't understand why her mother would put her in harms way like she has. Country before family? Ambition before family? Who knows. It hardly seems fair though. If she were a man with an underaged unwed pregnant daughter, I'd be a lot less judgmental. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Personally, Bristol’s pregnancy is a non-issue.
