Senator Specter - “Still proud to be a Democrat after all these years!”

The main goal of all Senators is to get reelected for life. They “serve” the people until death do they depart, and then bequeath their endowed seat to their anointed family member. “We the People” in collusion with our elected solons have turned the U.S. Constitution and our Republic form of government into a laughing stock. For proof of my thesis you need look no further than the very elderly Senator Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania. Knowing that he cannot win the upcoming Pennsylvania Republican primary election this year because his Republican constituency has wearied of him, he switched parties. He was a “Republican in Name Only.” Now he is a “Democrat in Desperation Only.” Or as Senator Specter himself puts it: “Still proud to be a Democrat after all these years!” Arlen Specter still “proud to be a Democrat.”
