Poor Dave. Forced Into a Shotgun Marriage at His Advanced Age. What a Pity!

It was too, too sickening. Julia Roberts’ fawning and teasing 62-year-old David “The Lecher” Letterman on what had prompted America’s most celebrated woman-hater to tie the knot. “I don’t know if I can look you in the eye anymore…” she told him. “Last time I saw you, you were single and then I, like, hypnotized you in my white suit or something and you went off and married Regina.” Oh, it was ME, ME, ME, Julia Roberts, who motivated old Dave to sneak out and secretly marry someone he had, for many, many years avoided marrying.

Well … Ms. Roberts, flatter yourself as you may, but YOU had nothing to do with David Letterman’s “shotgun” marriage. Neither did his bride, Regina Lasko, as she had tried and failed in the past to get him to the alter. It was Governor Sarah Palin who came gunning for him and FORCED him kicking and screaming to the alter. Dave was not a happy camper.

Since Sarah Palin appeared on the political scene, David Letterman has been having a misogynist’s dream ridiculing both her and her seventeen-year-old daughter for not aborting their “undesirable” babies, as any self-respecting Liberal woman would have done. He became especially obsessed with placing the Scarlet A upon the breast of Governor Palin’s young, underage daughter, whom David Lettermen lampooned as “knocked up.” Yes, you’ve got that right. David Letterman, a sixty-something third-rate comic labelling an underage girl as a slut for getting pregnant. As if the young girl did not already have enough problems, her pregnancy was the target of David Letterman’s vile lechery, night after night on national CBS television.

All the while that David Letterman was condemning Bristol Palin for getting pregnant, or “knocked-up” as was his usual description, he never once saw himself as he really was. He was never able to see his own reflection in a mirror, for if he had he would have seen that he was the superior “male” pot calling the slutty “female” kettle black. David Letterman had “knocked-up” one of his own employees six years prior, and she too refused to get an abortion. How about them apples? Poor Dave. He never once realized what a hypocrite he was until “friends” started pointing it out to him.

Not only his friends, but soon his enemies who were pro-women and supporters of Sarah Palin, began seeing him as the hypocrite he was for what he had been doing to the young Palin daughter. While he was condemning Bristol Palin to wear the Scarlet A about her neck, lecherous David Letterman was getting lots of laughs from CBS’s audience of drunken and stoned twenty-year-old women-haters just by mentioning the Palin women.

So … one day, tired of being labeled a hypocrite, Old Dave sneaked off with his former “knocked-up” employee and her “out-of -wedlock” five-year-old child and had an official marriage ceremony performed. Looming over Old Dave with her moose-hunting shotgun to his head was Sarah Palin, the unofficial Maid of Honor. Later, David Letterman came to his senses and realized what had happened to him. After all these years of bachelorhood he had been forced into a marriage that he had never intended, to someone who was his definition of a slut who got “knocked-up.” This was a tragic state of affairs for an avowed chauvinist pig.

Knowing that his marriage was totally the fault of the Palins, as soon as he arrived back from his supposed secret honeymoon, off he went on the Palins. That is when he started making fun of the fourteen-year-old Palin daughter. She was not even pregnant, so he made up jokes about her being “knocked up” by a prominent athlete and serving as a prostitute for a former governor of New York.

David Letterman got lots of laughs from a CBS audience of sexual perverts when he described a fourteen-year-old child being raped by a male athlete while she was at a baseball game with her mother, who apparently looked the other way. (The Video) When complaints came in to CBS and Letterman’s advertisers, including Mars M&M Candy, Lexus, Kellogg’s, Downey, The Olive Garden, Hellman’s Mayo, and others about the harm being inflicted upon American women and children by David Letterman’s trivializing rape of a child, the comic, in a brazen show of contempt, followed up by repeating every one of the offensive jokes and more on a following national broadcast. CBS knows that David Letterman is a misogynist bigot, but as long as he is not a conservative misogynist bigot, that is A-okay with CBS.

How long can American democracy survive with a corrupt and dishonest American media? Not long, I’m afraid.

If we had honest and fair media, The New York Times, instead of publishing a smear on a candidate’s wife, Cindy McCain, would actually be asking and investigating an actual candidate for president, Barack Obama. What do the American people really know about Barack Obama? Not much, except that the corrupt American media love him. Where did he come from? Chicago is all we know, nothing more. If we had a truthful and accurate American press, the New York Times would be asking about the votes being stolen by Obama’s A.C.O.R.N. How long can democracy survive with the American voter having his or her vote stolen? Not long.

Instead of smearing Cindy McCain, who is not running for any office, why does not the press ask Barack Obama about ACORN? Why cannot they ask a presidential candidate these questions, that Senator Barack Obama Needs to Answer:

1. Why has Obama proclaimed that he has been fighting alongside ACORN, a radical leftwing organization, his “entire career”?

2. What was he fighting for? To steal American’s votes?

3. What exactly has been Obama’s relationship with ACORN?

4. What was the nature of the “training” Obama provided to ACORN activists in Chicago?

5. What occurred during the “actions” that Obama organized as a community organizer? Did the “actions” involve intimidation by any of the participants Obama led?

6. Why did ACORN activists humiliate bankers into giving bad loans after Obama trained them?

7. Why did Obama seek ACORN’s endorsement in his state senate race?

8. What, if any, support did ACORN provide Obama in his 2004 Senate race?

9. What, did Obama mean when he promised ACORN that their input would be sought in an Obama administration, even before he is inaugurated? Is that because he will need their help stealing more votes to get him reelected in four years?

Fortunately for J-Mac, his basketball triumph was captured on film and sent about the Internet until it eventually reached the sports cable network ESPN, making the autistic teenager the national hero that he is today. Film companies, publishers, basketball superhero “Magic” Johnson, and even Oprah Winfrey are now bidding for his attention.

When Jason McElwain entered the game and immediately flubbed the first basket, his coach prayed. That prayer was answered seven times thirteen, as the young autistic student of Monroe County, New York made headlines by scoring twenty points in four minutes at his high school basketball game. The unlikely teen-age champion, J-Mac, has even become a hero to President George W. Bush who traveled to New York to present him with an award. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church or Mormons) is the only truly American religion that has survived and flourished since the "Second Great Awakening" religious revival movement of the early 19th century United States. In our modern times, this religious sect of Christianity is worthy of great respect and admiration from all Americans. It is quite shameful, especially for other Christians, to ridicule its creed and to spread outrageous falsehoods about it, however that seems to be the stock in trade of the religious intolerant. Break the Law Now - Don’t Pay Later!

So what good are the laws? Dympha at “Gates of Vienna” is reporting on the punishment which is just being meted out for the Democrat vandals who slashed more than forty tires of twenty-five Republican vehicles shortly before they were to be used during the 2000 election in Wisconsin. The naughty boys are finally getting their just deserts. Their deserts are most certainly “desserts”, however they are not “just”.

At the same time we hear that Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton is now also getting her “just deserts” for her campaign’s illegally spending more than $721,895 of what she was allowed under the law for her 2000 Senate race. Yes, the year 2000 — six years ago!

During the 2000 campaign Hillary Clinton had made a pledge with her GOP opponent, Rep. Rick Lazio, to not accept the large, unregulated donations known as soft money to fund their Senate races.

The wheels of justice have finally given her a big slap on the wrist for a bookkeeping error. Of course, as expected, Hillary bears no responsibility for any crime, as she was the candidate, not the bookkeeper. So what was her punishment for the flagrant flouting of campaign finance law? A $35,000 civil fine and election to the United States Senate for the past six years.

But most of her money in the 2000 race was soft — the result of large checks written by people who had who had slept in the Lincoln Bedroom or otherwise been feted at the White House, Camp David, Air Force One, etc.”

Physics professor Steven E. Jones of BYU in Provo, Utah, has developed a new theory about the terrorist attack in New York City on September 11th, 2001. He believes planes alone did not bring down the buildings. Both towers collapsed in place after the attacks, and later that day, #7 World Trade Center, which was never hit by a plane, fell in less than seven seconds.

Professor Jones has written an academic hypothesis that powerful explosives may have been pre-positioned in the buildings. He says that #7 World Trade Center, damaged and ablaze from nearby debris, did not topple over as would be expected from the second law of thermodynamics. It came straight down, such as in a pre-planned demolition. The professor says that models conducted in tests since 9/11 have not been able to duplicate what happened to the buildings in New York. His is not a proven theory, but a hypothesis, that he believes warrants a new independent investigation.

We were afraid to remember that day, yet in remembrance of those murdered innocents, we did remember. We will always be afraid to remember our vulnerability, but our will to survive will always overcome the fear to remember September 11th.

While Osama bin Laden, Iraq, North Korea and Saudi Arabia are plotting our demise, we find the American people are

* still arguing over tax cuts
* still trying to run Israel from our side of the Atlantic
* still arguing about stem cells
* still flogging the 2000 election results (Paul Krugman’s recent columns)
* still excusing terrorism and terrorists — particularly if they have an academic bent.

Until Americans are willing to take this threat seriously, we are doomed.

The greatest success of the Bush/Cheney administration over the past four years is what has NOT happened to us. Our cities’ transportation systems have not been turned into raging infernos as happened in London this past July. Our trains have not been blown up as happened in Spain. American planes have not exploded in the air as happened in Russia. School children have not been taken hostage by terrorists.

The acolytes of the evil one have been planning attacks on America and until now our government has been able to thwart them. We know that we could again be hit, at anytime, for America is the apple of the eye for the terrorist. If you are a resident of New York, Virginia (The Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia 2001) or Pennsylvania you know full well your own vulnerability to terrorism. We three states have been attacked on our own blessed soil. We have seen the devastation first hand. The fact that nothing has happened since, is NO coincidence!

Just one year ago in Beslan, Russia, was demonstrated exactly what this War on Terror is about. Never forget that even your children are not safe from these barbarians. Radical Islamists think nothing of blowing up your grandchildren. You are not safe as long as their hatred exists on the face of this earth.

This month the city of New Orleans was deluged and destroyed, as had been feared by those in charge of our nation’s security (see “Cajun Counterterrorism“). Yet it did not happen by an act of terror, but by the unconquerable force of nature.

Who are America’s Angels? They are the citizens of this great land, civilians, military and government employees, who every single day are watchful of this nation’s security. Be ever grateful to them and never forget September 11th. Be ever Proud to be an American.
