Surely John Adams Is Repenting in Heaven For the Sheep Who Are His Posterity.

Although it is sad to contemplate, it is the reality of today’s America, as more and more traditional Americans of faith, conservatives, small business owners, the military, are feeling disenfranchised from their own country and their government. I am one of them.

How can any American of old-fashioned honesty and character continue to believe in a government that is so blatantly corrupt? How can Americans trust greedy leaders who tax them to redistribute their hard earned money as rewards to other greedy politicians and overpaid and corrupt business executives? We have only to examine Congress’s own businesses, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, that were plundered by that same Congress and their favored friends, resulting in the near collapse of the nation’s banking system. This is even before we ponder the now commonplace scenario of tenaciously clutching onto so-called elected positions until death do they depart, only to bequeath those seats in Congress to family members as though they were a part of an anointed Solon’s estate. Now we are discovering that in the former land of Lincoln, a United States Senate seat is offered to the highest bidder.

The church I have belonged to all of my life is being attacked and its members persecuted by my fellow countrymen and America’s vetted churches of Christendom. My traditional beliefs that were taught me long ago by my family, teachers and church are now lampooned by Americans of today who know little of America’s history. We are now described as uneducated and full of hate by “in favor” American Christians, when we are not being ridiculed. I have been publicly told by the now President-elect of the United States that the American flag I once proudly displayed at my home and wore on my clothing, was merely a sign of my own “false patriotism.” I have never felt a racist thought against anyone, and have lived closely with people of many different races including African Americans. However, for the first time in my long life, in 2008, I was repeatedly labelled a racist because I, a conservative, did not support a liberal black man as candidate for President of the U.S. At the same time, those very same Americans who labeled John McCain supporters as racists, now condemn the founders of this country because those who volunteered in 1776, to sacrifice their own blood, sweat and tears for our freedom, were rich white males.

“Posterity! you will never know how much it cost the present generation to preserve your freedom! I hope you will make a good use of it If you do not, I shall repent in Heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.” ~John Adams letter to his wife Abigail Adams, 26 April 1777.

We, the disenfranchised Americans, were taught that our vote was sacred; that it had been won for us with the blood of patriots. How can we continue to believe that when we see with our own eyes federally-funded groups such as A.C.O.R.N run ads on television against our preferred conservative candidate? Why would we continue going to the polls when we know that these same federally-sanctioned community organizations will be stealing our votes, with our own tax money, by overwhelming them with dozens or hundreds of ill-gotten illegal votes? How can our “one” vote stand up against the onslaught of criminality encouraged by our own government’s elected officials?

Today, all over America, the military, conservatives and Christians are being publicly disenfranchised in the very nation that their predecessors created. Signs of faith of “out of favor” Christians are banned, outlawed, and destroyed. We see that a law-abiding “out of favor” group, the Mormons, cannot go to the polls and vote their consciences without violent ramifications and persecutions, whilst members of African American churches are praised for doing the exact same thing. When Christians cannot freely speak on public streets without police protection, or even with police protection, we see that not only is “Freedom of Religion” dead, but “Freedom of Speech” is too. (See the VIDEO.)

Just today, two weeks before our Christian holiday of Jesus’ birth, the Alaskan church of Sarah Palin was struck by arsonists. The smoke alarms of the church saved the lives of the women and children working inside, from evil would be murderers of innocent “out of favor” Christians. (Anchorage, Alaska) Governor Palin’s Church is one of those conservative churches that is now reviled by much of America, the media, late night comics and mainstream Protestantism. Her church believes in the same traditional Christian tenets that the Pilgrims and Puritans brought to this land; tenets which come from the Holy Bible.

However, these disenfranchised Americans who are being deprived of their Constitutional rights, are still expected to swear oaths supporting the Constitution that is not supporting them, to pay taxes which are then used in schemes to further bludgeon them, to send their children to schools to be indoctrinated to revile their own parents’ beliefs and culture, and to continue to raise their young people to believe it patriotic to fight America’s wars, although America will never fight for any of the reviled, out-of-favor, and disenfranchised ones.

Mainstream America, secular and progressive America, finds that fair and just, as they tell us that we are disenfranchised from their “changed” America because we are worse than Hitler and more frightening than Osama bin Laden and all of Al Qaeda put together.

I believe that if John McCain had won the election, it would NOT have been a good thing. Why do I think that it was a blessing in disguise that the Republicans lost at the polls on November 4th, 2008? This video demostrates why:

The above video is just one example of what is happening in California and other Western States to people who went to the polls, voting their consciences, expecting to participate in American democracy. These American terrorists in the video demonstrating their insane rage are Democrats who lost at the ballot box. If you found it troubling to have the term “RACIST” hurled at you for voting Republican during the 2008 election, think of what would be happening now, if Republicans had won. You would need police protection, if you could find it, to walk on city streets. You would be closing down your businesses. You would be in a heap of hurt if John McCain had won. Democrats, as proved by this video and many other videos, would NEVER, ever have accepted that your vote was valid. You would have been a Messiah-killer forever, instead of just a poor pitiful and misguided Republican, as you are now.

As it is, Barack Obama is your President and 52% of America is jubilant. Those who believe in His message of Socialism and His Redistribution of wealth believe in Him, even though you do not nor do you accept Him as your Messiah. You and your side have lost, and Conservatives and Republicans have NO chance to ever regain the Presidency nor the Congress in your lifetime. After-all, Obama will be selecting future Supreme Court justices and the Congress will vote themselves two more Democrat Senators when Washington DC becomes a state.

Learn to be thankful for small favors. At least for the next four years you can probably walk the streets unmolested, unlike Californians. You can probably enjoy your family, and still go to church, unlike Mormons, Catholics and Evangelicals in the West. All of those things that you can still do, even with Barack Obama as your president, you must appreciate and be thankful for. You are now “the minority” of this country and that is the way it will be in America of 2009 and forward. We do not know what the future holds; we know only that it does not hold the America of the past that we have known and loved.

Conservatives, traditional Christians, capitalists, libertarians, classical liberals, federalists, republicans and big “R” Republicans are now all part of a minority. If you, as a minority of this new regime, refuse to go along, if you rebell, you will bleed.

The American voter is a bit loony and lacking when it comes to logic.

For example, when Governor Mitt Romney was recently running for President of these United States, he was deemed as totally unacceptable by the electorate because in the distant past of ancient American history, his American religion of Mormonism had practiced the Old Testament rite of polygamy.

Fast forward a few months later to today. Oh how the American voter has become enlightened as to those American virtues of tolerance and diversity. Who has now been chosen as the official Democrat nominee for United States president? Barack Hussein Obama, son of a polygamist. Obama’s father was not a polygamist in the long ago past of ancient history; he was a polygamist until the day he died in 1982.

Yet, remarkably, not one word has been uttered by the mainstream media about Obama’s polygamist heritage. Why was it so important for the media to condemn Romney’s Mormon religion because of polygamy, yet mention nothing at all about Barack Obama having been born into a polygamous Muslim family? It should make one ponder upon the different attitudes shown towards the two men by America’s corrupt news organizations.

Presidential candidate Obama’s father, BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA Sr., was born 1936, in Nyangoma-Kogelo, Siaya District, Kenya. In 1982, when the automobile he was driving crashed into a tree in Nairobi, Kenya, he left behind three wives, at least one ex-wife, six sons and a daughter. He would have left four wives if the American-born mother of Barack Obama had not divorced him before his untimely death.

In contrast, Mitt Romney’s father, GEORGE ROMNEY, was married to his one and only wife for sixty-four years, until death did they depart.

Lord — Save Us from Hate!

My “political” essays HERE concerning Mitt Romney and the attacks upon his faith have resulted in many virulent anti-Mormon comments at my website from self-proclaimed “Christians.” Lord save us from such a religion as these “Christians” espouse. In fact, my eyes have been opened so, that I am considering dropping my membership in the ranks of Christendom to become just a lowly follower of Jesus.

I am not the only one who has been offended by such “Christian” behavior. The Anti-Defamation League was founded in 1913, and is the world’s leading organization fighting anti-Semitism throughout the world. It offers programs and services to counteract hatred, prejudice and bigotry. In March of this year, the ADL condemned “Mormon-Bashing,” and commented that Hate directed at any of us is hate directed at all of us.”

If you don’t care because you are not a Mormon, then wait until they come for whatever creed or religion or non-religion that you are. You will care about virulent hatred then.

ADL Condemns “Mormon-Bashing” DVD

Phoenix, AZ, March 27, 2007……The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) condemned the distribution of an anti-Mormon DVD by the organization Concerned Christians as nothing more than “Mormon-bashing.”

Bill Straus, ADL Arizona Regional Director, observed: “This is the same kind of plain, old-fashioned Mormon-bashing that Jim Robertson and his group have been spewing for over a quarter-of-a-century. The only difference is that back then, it was the film, ‘The God Makers,’ and today it’s the DVD, ‘Jesus Christ/Joseph Smith.’ It was wrong then, and it’s wrong now.”

ADL Regional Board Chair David Bodney added, “Hate directed at any of us is hate directed at all of us. From whomever that hate comes, and to whomever it’s directed, ADL takes it very seriously and will continue to speak out against it.

Before accepting the lengthy anti-Mormon diatribes by some of the commenters here and at various websites on the Internet as facts about the LDS church, I suggest perusing the official website of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. There is an area of “NEWS” where the church explains its official position on various currently discussed themes, such as Mike Huckabee’s claim that the Mormons believe Jesus and Satan were brothers. There is another section about DNA and the Book of Mormon. The LDS News Room

The Most Reverend Mike Huckabee and his followers are proven religious bigots. How do we know this to be true? Because they consistently attack only one religious sect in all of Christendom for supposed “weird” beliefs, — the Mormons.

This is not only bigotry, it is shameful ignorance to boot, as every sect of Christianity is guilty of believing in the “weird.” Christian beliefs begin with angels appearing to pregnant women; one was a virgin who went on to birth the Son of God. This same Son of God grew to manhood and at death, arose from the dead and publicly ascended to heaven. Basically, all Christian sects espouse these fundamental weird beliefs.

Then, about 300 years after the death of Jesus Christ, His official Church officially declared a new “weirdness” added to its beliefs. It was “The Holy Trinity” that, for whatever reason, Jesus forgot to explain to his followers. That weird tenet meant that Jesus, the son of a virgin and of God, along with the mysterious Holy Spirit and also God himself were really all one being. That was so difficult to explain to Christian followers that the Church decreed that anyone who did not believe be executed. Finally some centuries later, Saint Patrick found the shamrock in Ireland which somehow explained it all, and saved the necks of many.

Does Mike Huckabee condemn Roman Catholicism for its weird belief in transubstantiation? Basically when Catholics partake of the sacrament of communion, the bread and the wine are NOT symbols of Christ’s flesh and blood, but the food and drink are physically transformed into the real flesh and blood of Jesus, which his followers devour. NO, they never condemn Catholics for this “weird” belief!

Do Reverend Huckabee and his followers condemn Unitarians for their strangeness and call then non-Christians? Do they ever rail against the American presidents John Adams, John Quincy Adams and Millard Fillmore who were of that faith? In fact, one of America’s greatest Founding Fathers, John Adams, rejected the Christian Trinity and the divinity of Jesus, and that was the reason he joined the Unitarian faith. What condemnation do these former Presidents receive from religious bigots such as Mike Huckabee? NONE!

What about Dwight Eisenhower’s Jehovah’s Witness faith, that he actually attempted to hide? Perhaps President Eisenhower was aware of religious bigots in his time, such as today’s Christian evangelicals. Eisenhower’s family were followers of the Watchtower Society and he was raised in that faith, which later took the name Jehovah’s Witnesses. The home where he was raised served as the local WatchTower meeting Hall. Ike’s father received a WatchTower funeral when he died and his mother remained an active Jehovah’s Witness her entire life. President Eisenhower was sworn into the presidency with a WatchTower printed Bible.

Do America’s religious bigots condemn as “weird” those Christian churches that follow Biblical teachings literally? In the Book of Mark, Jesus said: “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Do Huckabee and his acolytes condemn those who practice the Biblical teaching of glossolalia? See YouTube example: Speaking in Tongues. What about the Biblical teaching of handling serpents while in the spirit of Jesus Christ, which some Christians follow still? See YouTube’s Snake Handling Christians. Has anyone ever heard Reverend Mike Huckabee and his followers condemn these beliefs of some Christian faiths? NO!

Reverend Mike Huckabee and his followers spew their religious bigotry, in this day and age, only against the Mormon faith and against Mike Huckabee’s political rival, Mitt Romney, who is a practitioner of that faith, because they find some of the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to be “weird.”

Who’s the “real” Brother of Satan?

By America’s political pundits and Christian Evangelical leaders of 2007 ” who deny America and … dishonor the dead who gave their lives for American freedom.

“This was the first nation in the history of the world to be founded with a purpose. The great phrases of that purpose still sound in every American heart, North and South: ‘All men are created equal’ — ‘government by consent of the governed’ — ‘give me liberty or give me death.’ Well, those are not just clever words, or those are not just empty theories. In their name Americans have fought and died for two centuries, and tonight around the world they stand there as guardians of our liberty, risking their lives.

“Those words are a promise to every citizen that he shall share in the dignity of man. This dignity cannot be found in a man’s possessions; it cannot be found in his power, or in his position. It really rests on his right to be treated as a man equal in opportunity to all others. It says that he shall share in freedom, he shall choose his leaders, educate his children, and provide for his family according to his ability and his merits as a human being.

“To apply any other test — to deny a man his hopes because of his color or race, his religion or the place of his birth — is not only to do injustice, it is to deny America and to dishonor the dead who gave their lives for American freedom. — Special Message to the Congress: The American Promise, 15 March 1965, Lyndon Baines Johnson.

The American Promise Amended 2007: The American Promise, as promised by President Lyndon Baines Johnson in 1965, does not apply to those of the Mormon faith (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints).” ~~America’s political pundits and Christian Evangelical leaders of 2007.

Today is “National Day of Prayer”, which now means, under the leadership of Shirley Dobson and her James Dobson Evangelicals, if you see or hear Mitt Romney praying, you can have him cited for violating a national law!

As a country at war with American blood and treasure being spent on foreign soil as we fight for freedom and against terror’s reign, American citizens should be looking forward to celebrate their freedom to gather, worship, and pray on this, May 3rd, the 56th annual National Day of Prayer. However, the National Day of Prayer has been hijacked into an Exclusionary Day of Prayer, encouraging “so-called” Christian Evangelicals to flock to public observances to pray for our nation, leaders, media, churches, families, and schools, while other Americans will not only be uninvited, but deliberately excluded because their religious faith does not meet the “Evangelical Test”. Evangelical Pope James Dobson has created just such a “Christianity” test as a way of weeding the “wheat from the chaff”. The pope, as the final judge and jury of who is “wheat” and who is “chaff”, has deigned that all participants in the National Day of Prayer adhere to “Judeo-Christian” theological tenets, which in his own words require that anyone praying must “be an evangelical Christian who has a personal relationship with Christ . . . and acknowledge that I am working for the Lord Jesus Christ and the furthering of his work on Earth.”

The National Day of Prayer was begun by the Continental Congress in 1775, when new Americans were asked to pray for guidance at the the birth of our nation. It continued through Abraham Lincoln who in 1863 called for a day of “humiliation, fasting and prayer.” President Harry S Truman proclaimed it a “National” Day of Prayer. In 1988, Ronald Reagan set aside the first Thursday in May for ALL citizens to worship across ALL religious boundaries. Thereafter it became “officially” organized - Washington-style, until for the last few years, under the leadership of the Evangelical Christians, the holiday has become hijacked, prohibiting Latter-day Saints, Seventh-day Adventists, Jews, Buddhists and Hindus from praying at any of the “official” National Day of Prayer services or events.

These “Latter-day Evangelicals” somehow use a scripture from a genuine Evangelist to judge the Christianity of participants: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. ” ~~II Chronicles 7:14. If Jesus were in charge, I wonder which Christians He would exclude from praying.

Is there no help for the widow’s son?

“The Solomon Key” is Dan Brown’s sequel to “The Da Vinci Code” and because the author has revealed little of its content, speculation has been raging. The author has confirmed that the backdrop of the forthcoming novel is the world’s oldest secret society - the mysterious Freemasons. In addition, the publisher Doubleday, has revealed that there are clues to the subject matter of the sequel on the dust jacket of bestseller “The Da Vinci Code.” Aside from a reference to the sculpture called Kryptos, displayed on the grounds of the CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia, there is one more visible clue, the message ‘is there no help for the widow’s son?’

This strange coded phrase has been linked to Masonry and also to the founder of the Mormon faith, the Prophet Joseph Smith. When a mob broke into the Illinois jail where Smith and his brother were confined, and murdered them, witnesses related that they heard the Prophet Joseph utter as his final earthly words, the Masonic call for help, ‘is there no help for the widow’s son?’ Adding even more mystery to historical truth, the murderers of the prophet were themselves believed to be Masons, as were both Joseph Smith and his brother Hiram.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church or Mormons) is the only truly American religion that has survived and flourished since the "Second Great Awakening" religious revival movement of the early 19th century United States. In our modern times, this religious sect of Christianity is worthy of great respect and admiration from all Americans. It is quite shameful, especially for other Christians, to ridicule its creed and to spread outrageous falsehoods about it, however that seems to be the stock in trade of the religious intolerant. Kerfuffles suggests that “some” Christian churches would be better served in praising the Lord than defaming the Mormons. (more…)
